The Bearded Collie Club of America is returning to Florida for the first time since 1996 for its 2025 National Specialty, a celebration of our breed “Under the Oaks.” The BCCA and members of the Bearded Collie Club of Central Florida cannot wait to welcome you October 31–November 8, 2025 for all National Specialty events and the Bearded Collie Club of Central Florida Sweepstakes and Regional Specialty.
Our host hotel, Mission Resort + Club, offers the best of old central Florida — spectacular vistas, comfortable modern rooms with screened patios and balconies, Spanish Colonial architecture, restaurants, championship golf, and ancient Florida oaks. The resort offers a beautiful setting for the outdoor show we are planning!
And best of all, the resort is a quiet, dog-friendly place with scenic walking paths, plenty of grass, and outdoor pet areas easily accessed from guest rooms. Listed on the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Historic Hotels of America, the resort is located in Howey-in-the-Hills, just northwest of Orlando and three miles from I-75 — easy driving distance to both Orlando and Tampa International airports.
The host hotel will be home to Obedience and Rally trials, all conformation events, meetings, and social events.
Herding and Agility trials will be held within one hour of the hotel in Morriston and Brooksville at the popular venues Black Birch Farm South and Sonlight Ranch.
In addition to National Specialty and Regional Specialty events, conformation participants will have opportunities for points at all-breed shows in Plant City and Ocala the two weekends before and after our shows!
